I bought this for my husband who has dementia but he has always had a passion for astrometry. The telescope arrived today, and after several attempts I worked out how to assemble itin the past my husband would have assembled it, but now he can't do those types of jobs. - my husband was eager to go outside at dusk to view his first stars and moon the absolute joy on his face was priceless and worth every cent I paid. The various sight finders are terrific, I can see my husband having many happy nights exploring the night skies with me by his side I will be learning and my darling will be teaching me.

This telescope is great for beginners and those interested in testing whether they wish to take space interests further without outlaying much money. I enjoyed learning and have now moved on to a more expensive telescope. I gave it 5 stars not because it is the best but because it served my purposes and was reasonably priced.
